Build a Tree-Related Pipeline of Nature-Based Projects to Support Disadvantaged and Underserved Communities

Nearly $44 billion in Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRFs) support will be provided to states, tribes, and territories during the next five years through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The SRF Tree Academy training introduces front-line partners providing technical assistance, advocacy, and project development for disadvantaged and underserved communities to opportunities to tap low-cost public financing to implement nature-based solutions.

SRF Tree Academy provides insights into SRF eligibility, ways to tap into these programs, and case studies of real projects that have been funded. During three, 3-hour sessions (9 hours total) you'll learn the mechanics, possibilities, and innovations of the SRFs.

These interactive sessions will educate participants on how to get started in any state with an Intended Use Plan, disadvantaged community criteria, and additional subsidy determination. SRF program staff will describe how they approach natural infrastructure projects.

The SRF Tree Academy is offered at no cost to participants thanks to the generous support of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities!
