Chester noticed quickly in his career that social determinants of health should not just be a small consideration when looking at one’s health, but the biggest consideration to impact one’s health. Since then Chester has worked with hospitals, health systems, health payors, and community-based organizations to design, apply, and track outcomes of various social determinant of health initiatives.

Chester came to Quantified Ventures from a healthcare technology startup aimed at removing transportation as a barrier to care, Roundtrip Health. During his time at Roundtrip, Chester worked with clients, partners, and government organizations to develop, implement, and expand transportation strategy. By bridging gaps within internal organizations and collaborations with external partners, Chester and his team were responsible for the substantial growth of Roundtrip’s book of business.

Prior to Roundtrip, Chester worked in various roles at Cigna, including Cigna Global Health Benefits, Cigna Group Insurance, Cigna Behavioral Health, and Medicare Advantage through Cigna HealthSpring. Chester played a key role in the overall sales strategy and customer acquisition efforts for some of Cigna’s largest clients. At Cigna HealthSpring, Chester led value-based programs throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and successfully guided physician and hospital groups to cost savings while, more importantly, increasing quality of care.

Chester and his wife, Laurie, live in Narberth, PA with their two dogs, Benji and Pickles. Chester is a train and plane enthusiast, and in his free time loves to cook and try out the newest restaurant/bar in Philadelphia.
