Nish Samant

Associate Director

Nish has over a decade of experience collaborating with companies ranging from large, multinational corporations to small, recently minted startups. He brings a passion for working with numbers to uncover stories and help organizations chart a path forward. He was drawn to Quantified Ventures for its commitment to designing novel solutions that lead to lasting impact.

Nish joins QV after a stint of freelance consulting where he helped healthcare companies and small businesses across the country rightsize their finances and operational strategies against the backdrop of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, he was with JPMorgan in New York for 7 years where he helped strategically position client portfolios in the alternative investment space and helped manage a suite of fund of fund products with an aggregate $10BN in assets under management.

Nish has Masters degrees in Business Administration and Public Health from UC Berkeley where he concentrated on entrepreneurial studies and health policy management. His capstone thesis focused on chronic pain management in the United States. Nish received his BA from the College of William & Mary in Virginia where he double majored in Philosophy and Business Analytics.

Nish is an occasional woodworker and constant nomad who loves the outdoors, whether its backpacking up mountains or hiking down to remote beaches. He previously coached high school and youth wrestling and plans to return to the sport if he can stay put in one location long enough.
