Becca Trueman

Associate Director & Watershed Coordinator, Mississippi River Basin

Becca brings nearly a decade of experience in natural resources planning and management to Quantified Ventures. She joined Quantified Ventures because she believes in the potential for collaboration across geographies and industries to create both sustainable and mutually beneficial outcomes. Becca is thrilled to connect with and support the stakeholders of the Mississippi River Basin.

Prior to joining QV, Becca served as a Watershed Coordinator for Oldham County, Kentucky. As a Watershed Coordinator, Becca led all aspects of the watershed program and implementation of efforts to improve local waterways. This included coordination with local agencies, contractors, and the public to provide education, obtain funding, and install BMPs.

Recently, Becca completed a 4-year term as a Board Supervisor for the Jefferson County Soil & Water Conservation District. In this position, Becca assisted with staffing, funding, and program development that expanded conservation projects and community education for Louisville residents. Becca also currently serves as chair for her local volunteer stream monitoring organization, Salt River Watershed Watch.

Prior to moving to Louisville, Becca worked in Western Massachusetts as a Soil Conservationist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service, where she helped farmers and forestland owners obtain funding for land conservation. For several years Becca also worked as a remote contractor for the University of Rhode Island’s Nonpoint Source Education for Municipal Officials (NEMO) program.

Becca currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her partner, two cats, and too many plants to count.
