Dipa brings not only experience in clean energy and structured finance products to Quantified Ventures, but also a passion for making a difference through impact investments.

Dipa came to Quantified Ventures after consulting with Dalberg Capital, the impact investment advisory arm of Dalberg Global Development Advisors, where she was helping to create a way for economically disadvantaged young adults in Sub-Saharan Africa get student loans for college.

Before Dalberg, Dipa lived out a lifelong dream to travel and volunteer internationally. Her favorite places were the gorgeous mountains and warm and cheerful people of Medellin, Colombia, which felt to her like a home away from home during her time volunteering there. Another highlight of her travels was the untouched natural beauty of Kashmir, India, where despite civil unrest, she found peace in mountains, water, and flowers.

She previously worked in the mortgage and asset-backed securities sectors at UBS Investment Bank and Freddie Mac and as a renewable energy business development manager at ConEdison Development. While pursuing her MBA at NYU, she interned at Grameen Bank and Grameen Shakti in Bangladesh where she lived in different villages conducting research on the impact of microfinance loans and access to solar power. Dipa has installed solar panels on the rooftops of rural homes in Costa Rica and is very passionate about the impact investing sector. In New York, she was involved with the Net Impact NYC Professional Chapter where she held the Finance and President board positions.

Dipa earned her BBA from the George Washington University and MBA from New York University. She also completed the Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice. Outside of work, she’s learning guitar, spoiling her niece and nephew, or looking for the next opportunity to explore the world.
