Seth Brown, senior Associate

Seth brings proven leadership experience operating effectively at the intersection of public policy and business by bringing operational discipline and empathetic client management expertise to the Quantified Ventures team. Prior to graduate school, Seth served as an officer in the US Army for five years. His experience as a platoon leader and convoy commander in Afghanistan taught him the importance of reaching creative solutions in ambiguous environments through collaborative planning and execution. While serving as a General’s Aide during a volatile period for the Army, Seth honed his skills in efficient and effective policy implementation. Seth’s work at the Economic Bureau of Department of State and at The Reinvestment Fund, a Philadelphia-based CDFI, leveraged his policy, economics, cross-sector communications and business acumen to advance the evolving impact investing arena. 

Seth earned three degrees from Duke University: a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the Pratt School of Engineering, an MPP from the Sanford School of Public Policy, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business.
