Michelle shin, special assistant

Michelle is a bicycle urbanist proactively working to change people’s interactions with their built environment in a way that enhances every individual’s quality of life. Michelle was always passionate about environmental justice, and she explored this issue by working with her regional food systems from both non-profit and for-profit sectors.

Michelle then developed a passion for bicycle urbanism during her semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. The culmination of both academic and experiential learning has led her to recognize the critical need for greater private and public sector partnerships in tackling social and environmental issues. Michelle was attracted to Quantified Ventures for being at the forefront of mending this gap while yielding measurable, tangible outcomes.

Michelle recently graduated manga cum laude from Cornell University with a B.S. in a self-crafted study of Sustainability Management & Spatial Planning. During her time not working or biking, she likes to write letters, film, and read.
